Prayer for Deceased Pope Francis

The Heart of Jesus Area Faith Community will gather for special prayers to be offered for Pope Francis this week.

• Tuesday: 6pm Mass and Adoration at Holy Redeemer
• Wednesday: Rosary at the beginning of our Faith Formation Programs at 3:30 & 7pm at Holy Redeemer and 5:30 & 7pm at St Aloysius
• Thursday: Special Mass for Pope Francis at 12pm at St Aloysius in addition to the regular scheduled masses.
• Friday: Rosary at 2:10pm at St Mary’s with St Mary’s School

Prayer for a Deceased Pope 

God, Who, in Thine ineffable providence, didst will that Thy servant Francis ... should be numbered among the high priests; grant, we beseech Thee, that he, who on earth held the place of Thine only-begotten Son, may be joined forevermore to the fellowship of Thy holy pontiffs. Through the same Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end.
Amen.

R. And let the perpetual light shine upon him.
